Steel Valves

Steel valves are essential components in various industrial applications, designed to control the flow of fluids such as gases, liquids, and steam. Made from robust materials like stainless steel, these valves offer high durability, corrosion resistance, and the ability to withstand extreme temperatures and pressures. They come in various types, including ball valves, gate valves, and butterfly valves, each suited for specific uses. With options for manual, pneumatic, and motorized operations, steel valves are integral to industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and marine applications. Their reliability and long service life make them a preferred choice for ensuring safe and efficient fluid control.

Stainless Steel Gas Valves Material 201

Stainless steel gas valves made from 201 material are available with both ends threaded or NPT threaded. They are constructed from stainless steel bodies and Teflon seals and gaskets.

These valves are suitable for fluids like steam and water, and can withstand temperatures up to 120 degrees Celsius and pressures up to 20 bar.

They are available in two types: two-piece 201 stainless steel gas valves and three-piece four-bolt 201 stainless steel gas valves, ranging in size from 3/8 to 4 inches, with options for pneumatic or manual lever operation. The brands for 201 stainless steel gas valves are Nippon and Kitz.

Stainless Steel Gas Valves 304

Stainless steel gas valves made from 304 material are produced with three types of connections: threaded, welded, and clamped. These valves are used for fluids like steam, hot oil, and mildly corrosive acids.

The 304 stainless steel gas valves can handle temperatures up to 120 degrees Celsius and pressures up to 25 bar. They come in two types: two-piece 304 stainless steel gas valves and three-piece four-bolt 304 stainless steel gas valves.

Stainless Steel Gas Valves 316

Stainless steel gas valves, also known as quarter-turn valves, made from 316 material are available with threaded, welded, and clamped connections, in sizes from 3/8 to 4 inches, and are branded Nippon and Kitz.

316 stainless steel gas valves are used for highly corrosive fluids in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food processing, as well as marine applications. These valves are available in two types: two-piece 316 stainless steel gas valves and three-piece four-bolt 316 stainless steel gas valves.

316 stainless steel gas valves can handle temperatures up to 120 degrees Celsius and pressures up to 25 bar. They are produced with both pneumatic and manual lever operations.

Stainless Steel Gas Valves 1000 WOG

All stainless steel gas valves are marked with “1000 WOG,” indicating their pressure and temperature tolerance.

Most Common Stainless Steel Gas Valves in Industry

Stainless steel gas valves are produced with both manual lever and pneumatic operations. The manual lever models, particularly in sizes 2 inches and 3 inches, are most commonly used.

Advantages of Stainless Steel Gas Valves in Industry

Stainless steel gas valves feature lockable handles for enhanced safety, long service life, ease of installation, low error rates, and reasonable prices.

Applications of Stainless Steel Gas Valves in Industry

Due to their reasonable price, stainless steel gas valves are widely used in the food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors.

Two-Piece Stainless Steel Gas Valves

Two-piece stainless steel gas valves are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, capable of withstanding pressures up to 25 bar and temperatures up to 120 degrees Celsius.

They are produced in sizes from 3/8 to 4 inches using 201, 304, and 316 stainless steel, and are available with pneumatic electric and manual lever operations. These valves come in both motorized and simple versions.

Three-Piece Four-Bolt Stainless Steel Gas Valves

Three-piece four-bolt stainless steel gas valves are designed to handle pressures up to 30 bar and temperatures up to 140 degrees Celsius. They are produced in two types, 1000 WOG and 2000 WOG, in sizes from 3/8 to 4 inches, and are branded Nippon and Kitz.

These valves are made from 201, 304, and 316 stainless steel, and are available with both manual lever and pneumatic motorized operations. They come in both motorized and simple versions.

Stainless Steel Gas Valves with Clamped Connections

Clamped stainless steel ball valves are available with either double-clamped or single-clamped ends, made from 304 and 316 stainless steel, in sizes from 3/8 to 4 inches, branded Nippon and Kitz.

These valves are produced with both simple manual lever and pneumatic motorized operations, and come in both three-piece clamped and two-piece clamped designs.

Lever-Operated Stainless Steel Gas Valves

In this model, the lever is located on top of the valve to control fluid flow and open or close the valve, hence it is called a lever-operated stainless steel gas valve.

Pneumatic Motorized Stainless Steel Gas Valves

In this model, a motor or actuator is installed on the valve, using air and electric commands to open and close the valve. This type is called a pneumatic motorized stainless steel gas valve.

Metal-to-Metal Sealed Stainless Steel Gas Valves

In this model, instead of using Teflon for sealing, the valve is sealed metal-to-metal, allowing it to withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees Celsius.

Difference Between Metal-to-Metal and Teflon-Sealed Stainless Steel Gas Valves

In traditional stainless steel gas valves, Teflon is used for sealing, which may deteriorate over time. In metal-to-metal sealed valves, no Teflon is used, ensuring the valve can maintain its seal and withstand higher temperatures up to 400 degrees Celsius.
